R_video has an offline mode that allows you to access your video collection when your player is not connected to the internet or in the event of a cloud issue. Note that to access your collection offline, you must have already exported your collection via the Offline feature at least once. Offline mode does not allow you to add movies. When exporting in offline mode, all movies and series are exported, not just newly added movies. This system should therefore be used sparingly and only as a backup in case of an internet outage.
To export your collection in offline mode, follow these steps:
On your Media Player, press Menu, navigate to the first column, and select Offline Mode. Confirm your selection, and it will take a few minutes to activate. If you have a lot of movie, the process can be longer.
Once completed, you will have access to the offline mode, which is a read-only mode. To add movies, go to MENU > Disconnect, then launch your collection normally.
To manually access a collection previously exported in offline mode, go to MENU > Logout. There you will see a button dedicated to Offline mode. If the button does not appear, it means no collection has been previously exported in offline mode.
Offline mode is automatically enabled if your player is not connected to the Internet.
