R_volution RF + IR Remote Control

- First, check that you have the latest firmware version installed on your player : Setup>Miscellaneous>Firmware Upgrade

To pair your RF + IR remote control with your R_volution Player, proceed as follows :

- Go to Setup>Miscellaneous>Remote (with the original R_volution remote control)

- Press the OK button to Add remote

- Press the OK / VOL+ buttons simultaneously for approximately 5-15 seconds on the RF + IR remote control

- The red led of the remote control blinks during process

- A R_volution RCU icon will display

The R_volution RF + IR Remote control is now ready for use. 

To unpair the RF + IR Remote control :

- Go to Setup>Miscellaneous>Remote>R_volution RCU

- Select the UNPAIR button and Press the OK button on the remote control

- Select YES to unpair the remote

To switch from RF mode to IR mode :

- Press the OK / VOL- buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds

Note: when the Player is in deep sleep, the RF processor is inactive and therefore cannot receive the power on command. The remote control then switches to IR which always works in this mode.

If you want to turn your player on in RF mode, follow these steps:

Settings>Miscellaneous>Power management>“POWER” button action

- Power off: this is the default setting which puts the player into deep sleep 

- Video output off: this mode puts the player into simple standby mode. All functions are active except video output and compatible with the player's RF power on command.
