Since version 1.9.37, R_video offers a new feature to create favorite scenes from your movies and concerts. For movies, this allows you to directly access your favorite scenes to demo for your friends or test image and sound settings. For concerts, this allows you to directly access specific songs. In addition to being able to create your own favorite scenes, you can also benefit from the favorite scenes shared by the R_video community.
Attention! This feature is not available on Zappiti HDR series or older generation media players due to firmware limitations. Also note that favorite scenes do not work for TV shows / TV series episodes.
1. On your media player, launch R_video. Then, choose a movie or concert and click on its poster to enter the information page as shown in the image below for the classic movie "Ben-Hur".
When you see the arrow at the bottom of the page, press the DOWN button on your remote control. A screen dedicated to favorite scenes will appear. If you or another user in the community has already created favorite scenes, they will appear on the screen. If not, the screen will be blank.
The first line corresponds to your favorite scenes:
- The one you created yourself.
- The favorite scenes of other users that you have added to your favorite scenes list.
The second line presents the favorite scenes of the community.
The third line presents the alternative scenes of a scene selected in the community scenes list.
2. To create a favorite scene, press the MENU button on your remote control. Then, go to "Create a scene".
3. A screen will show you how to create the beginning and end of your scene using the Yellow (C) and Blue (D) buttons on your remote control.
4. When the tutorial appears, press the OK button on your remote control to start playing the movie.
5. Navigate through the movie to go to the beginning of the scene you want to create. You can use the 1 to 9 keys to go to a percentage in the movie, LEFT and RIGHT to go forward or backward by one minute in time, or P+ / P- to go forward or backward by 10 seconds in the time bar. Then, press the Yellow button (C) on your remote control to create the beginning of your scene. A time indicator will tell you the position of the beginning of your scene.
6. Go forward to where you want to position the end of your scene. To do this, do not hesitate to read the passage by refining using the P+ and P- keys. Then, press the Blue button (D) on your remote control to position the end marker of your favorite scene.
7. A progress bar will appear. This process can be more or less fast depending on the type of files (from a few seconds to several minutes).
8. A screen will then appear, allowing you to enter the name of your scene. This step is optional and is not shared. The title will only appear on your own favorite scenes.
9. Once the scene is created, it will appear in the list. If you have several, they are sorted from beginning to end according to the time positioning of each scene.
As you move the selector over a scene, a time indicator moves in the timeline at the bottom of the screen to indicate the scene's time position in the movie or concert, and its duration. The longer the rectangle, the longer the duration. Scenes with overlapping durations are placed in the "Variants" section, located at the bottom of the page, just above the timeline.
